Hours: 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. M-F Tuition: Parents work one morning a week at the center in order to earn 4 mornings of child care. Membership dues apply, see website for details. Ages: 8 months to 5 years

Originated in the 1970s (as the College Street Cooperative Playgroup), our organization has a long history of helping Iowa City families meet their childcare needs. Kids Care Co-op is a parent-supervised, non-structured play environment for children ages eight months to five years. Special accommodations are made for children two months to eight months. It is a great place for kids to learn how to get along with others and make friends. It is also a great place for mothers and fathers to make friends!
