I could not be more pleased with this facility and its staff. I had a really hard time putting my 15wk old daughter into daycare but the staff at Frog Hollow made my transition back to work much easier for me. I know she is in good hands every morning I leave her and it is clear to me how much they care about the babies in their charge. I love their open door policy and flexibility. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good infant room.

Frog Hollow does offer discounted tuition for having multiple kids attend the facility after the youngest child turns one, and I've found that the tuition rates are very comparable, and in some cases lower, than rates in Iowa City, Coralville, and NL. My oldest daugher was in 3 different centers in the Iowa City area between age 1 and 2, and Frog Hollow has been the best by far. I've had a great experience with all the staff at Frog Hollow, and my oldest child has learned a lot more than I ever expected of a 3 year old. I would recommend Frog Hollow with glowing support!!

My son has been going to Frog Hollow since it opened (he was almost 3 at the time). We have had only good experiences there. His 2 year old, 3 year old and now 4 year old classrooms have has consistent staff the ENTIRE time we have been there. The management is excellent. The teachers we come in contact with are friendly. My son has learned so much there and likes to go.

Just so we are clear, Grandma, Frog Hollow is one of the few in the Iowa City area that DOES NOT offer a multiple child discount. It's about competitiveness and that is one option they choose not to compete on. I love Frog Hollow, by the way. Great teachers and great atmosphere. Their educational program is superior to that of even the Kindergarten classes in the area. Our child went thru the Preschool program at Frog Hollow and is now in Kindergarten - and I can tell you the Frog Hollow cirriculum has already covered all of it, which is great for Frog Hollow ... terrible for the IC school district.

You want the centers to give a break to people with more than one child? You do not want the turn around with the staff? Think about it - these are the folks that take care of your children when parents, guardians are not able to. They listen to crying babies, children that are not feeling well - I could go on forever, but please realize these folks have a tough job and are underpaid. The majority do these jobs because they love your kids and want to make a difference. Please give this day care a break and stop complaining - the kids are safe there and if you don't like the way things are going - stay home with your kid.

Our oldest has been going there since it opened and has had the same teacher. He loves it. I have not personally seen the turnover mentioned by others. The staff and directors communicate well with me - not sure what others experience. Of course, we ask questions and think of it as a two way street. Our newest member of the family just started going there and so far, so good. The only downside to this facility is the price. It is quite expensive - especially if you have more than 1. There are no discounts for having more than 1 child attend Frog Hollow and for this reason, we are keeping our eye open for somethinge else.

My children love the school and teachers. They use a curriculum and each of my children have a lead teacher that has been there since we started in August 2008. Especially love the preschool! I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I agree with the other responses. The staff does seem to have an in/out kinda feel. They can't seem to retain personnel..AND, it definitely bothers me there always seems to be a lack of teachers to children. I am looking at moving my child to another daycare.

I moved my daughter to a different facility because the teachers were always changing and there always seemed to be too many children in a class. She is so much happier now that she's at a different daycare I wished I'd moved sooner.

It's a good center, the teachers care about the children there and the facility is nice. The office personnel are not the best though and the new director does not communicate well with parents. My children are happy there, just be careful of the management.
