Alice's is great! I didn't give it a 5 star rating only because I believe there is always room for improvement. My daughter loves it there and looks forward to going every morning. She is always talking about Mrs. Julia (the head teacher for 3-5 yr olds) and the other caregivers. She is learning new things everyday. The lessons are learned through songs and games. She doesn't even know she is learning because they learn through play. They are very good about making sure to give the kids time to play outside when the weather cooperates. The directors are very welcoming and easy to go to with any concerns I have had. The facility they are in gets the job done, but it could use an update. I've been very happy with the care my daughter has received, and I know I don't have to worry about her during the day. Great Job Alice's Rainbow!

We are a non-profit childcare center serving families of students and employees at The University of Iowa.  We are housed in two, formerly private homes located in a wooded area near UIHC and the Boyd Law Building.  We are open year-round, closing for University of Iowa office holidays, spring break, one week during winter break and one teacher work day in late August.
